USTAAD G76 VICTORIA – Authentic North Indian Cuisine in Downtown Victoria

Went following a friend’s recommendation, and I was very impressed with their food and sitting arrangement. Located in Fort Street in Downtown Victoria, this is an authentic North Indian Restaurant. Recommended: 1. Butter Chicken (boneless): Authentic Indian Butter Chicken, boneless pieces are big and the meat is not smashed or purchased cube meat, thus the flavour was perfect. Ample gravy to have with naan or paratha. 2. Creamy Chicken (boneless): Chicken cooked in cream and some spices, exhibiting a subtle chutney or mint flavor. Goes well with naan. 3. Lachcha Paratha: Compliments gravy dishes perfectly. 4. Butter Naan: Soft naan with a hint of buttery Flavor, compliments curry dishes. 5. Veg Combo Thali: Perfect for vegetarians. Interior is well lit, decorated nicely, and has a lot of UstaadG’s pictures with famous international celebrities. The place has staff that are well trained and they came checking on us if we needed anything. They were prompt to take orders and provide good description of dishes. Prices of gravy dishes and thalis are reasonable, while I find the prices of naan and paratha to be a bit more compared to other places that offer the same quality. Overall, we liked the place, and definitely added to our places to go eat on repeat!

Wonderful experience our second time to this place loved the food, Soya achari chaap and Amritsari kulcha were outstanding. Customer service was excellent.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! This authentic Indian restaurant blew me away with every bite. The portions were generous and such great value for money — you can truly taste the care and quality in every dish. The Amritsari Kulcha was pillowy soft, fresh out of the oven, and packed with flavor — easily the best I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our server, Jasleen, was particularly attentive and kind. They took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations based on our taste preferences, and were incredibly knowledgeable about the different dishes and spice levels. From start to finish, everything was flawless. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine that satisfies the soul, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

We recently had the chance to visit Ustaad G in Victoria, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and one of their staff members, Karan, was extremely professional and you can really tell he takes pride in his work. His service made our visit smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable from start to finish. We ordered the mix kulcha, and it was absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of place where you savour every bite and immediately start looking forward to your next visit. Highly recommended!!!

I recently tried Ustaad G76 Victoria and was truly impressed! I took a parcel and ordered Veg Pulao along with Onion Kulcha – the taste was just next level, absolutely delicious and flavorful. Even though they don’t serve halal, their vegetarian options are outstanding and definitely worth trying. The ambiance of the restaurant is very welcoming, and the staff is gentle, supportive and kind – they really make you feel comfortable. Their packaging for parcel orders is also very well done, showing the perfection of the restaurant and how much they care about their customers. I also heard from friends that their non-veg dishes are equally amazing (a must-try for those who don’t require halal). Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic taste, great service and a pleasant atmosphere!

What an amazing experience went there yesterday on the occasion of my birthday with my friends and jaslin warmly welcomed us with smile and suggested many food dishes and it turned out very tasty. Not only this they also celebrated my birthday and gave a wonderful cake i would like to appreciate jaslin and karan for this, their lovely gesture made my day . I will definitely recommend this place to others.

I was visiting Victoria from Toronto and had just a few hours to explore. I came across USTAAD G76 and decided to try their non-veg thali — and wow, it was incredible! Every item on the plate was packed with flavor and exceeded my expectations. Honestly, I didn’t expect to find such authentic and delicious Indian food in Victoria. The two female servers were also so kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town!
